From supply chain thinking to digitalized supply system thinking (Futures stage), 27th of October
Disruptive innovations enabling the transition towards a more resilient food system are urgently needed throughout the food supply and value chain. Essential factors making the paradigm shift possible are digitalization and the consequent new business models concerning the distribution of food products.
To help companies grasp these emerging opportunities, Food Tech Platform Finland arranges a panel discussion on the topic at the SHIFT business festival. We will reflect on the recent developments and future implications of digitalizing food with prominent experts within food and digital businesses. Especially we will distill the lessons learned from the larger development of the platform economy and its prospects in providing novel added value in the sustainable, resilient and ethical food business of tomorrow.
After the panel discussion, Food Tech Platform will guest host a workshop for companies interested in taking advantage of the digitalization happening in their field of business (like food distribution) at current. The workshop is facilitated by Sofokus.
